| Presently working for Network Rail as a Freight Train Controller I started on the railway in 1977 and worked through the signalling grades.Inevitably I took some photos and with the demise of the manual signalboxes I devoted some time (and cash !) to driving around the country taking pictures without trespassing (most of the time!). Some pictures were taken from passing trains hence the variable quality; obviousy if the light was wrong and I had driven 150 miles from home I was not going to move on without a picture.Gallery is biased towards the Eastern Region and some of the collections have general headings but it is the contents which are important....
